SPRING SIEGER SHOW AT ALBANY, OREGON ~ APRIL 19 AND 20, 2008

We had a wonderful time at this show.  The weather was absolutely crazy, snow, wind, hail, rain and cold cold cold!  We got soaked coming into the show, the dogs got groomed, but not me! Oh well, look at the dogs, not the handler! LOL
The competition was awsome with the best quality dogs competing that I have seen in a long time.  They were all magnificent!

We introduced our new Yorkie puppy girl, Pellerd-Ore HoneyBee otherwise known as "Cha Cha".  Here's a slide show of her first experience in the ring.  She won Best of Breed, 2 second place wins in Toy Group, a First place win in Toy group and went on to compete in Best In Show Puppy.  She accomplished her National Championship in Puppy class. Amazing for a little 7 month old pup!

Here's Cha Cha's slide show.  Click on the "full screen" link for the best viewing experience.

Honey, our Biewer Diva did very well too.  She won 4 Best of Breed, a 3rd in Toy Group and went on to win Reserve Best In Show Rare Breed and completed another International Championship.

OCTOBER 2007

AUTUMN SIEGER SHOW AT ENUMCLAW, WA ~ OCT 20 & 21, 2007

What a wonderful show it was.  We were brave enough to take four dogs to the two day show for a total of four shows, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.   Larry had to stay home to care of the little puppies and the rest of the gang, so Zoe and Errin came to help handle while I groomed and took pictures and kept us all organized and handled on Sunday too...it was fast paced and tons of fun.  (Thanks Zoe and Errin, we couldn't have done it without you!)

We took Flame and Honey, Frankie and King who were very good boys considering it was their first time out.  All four of them did very well, Honey beat her sister Flame and Frankie for Best of Breed in adult class in all four shows, going on to win 3rd in Toy Group.  Going on to Best In Show Rare Breed, she didn't place against some terrific competition...but there's always next time.  Frankie took 1st in all four shows for his class.  King took Best Of Breed Puppy and went on to take 3rd in Toy Group Puppy.

All four received the highest marks possible from the judges in all four shows and achieved National and International Titles in their classes.  We are very proud of them all.

Sunday night they were all pretty tuckered out and slept under our feet in the kitchen.  The next morning, Honey and Flame tried to get into the car as if saying "We want to go back to the Show!"....little showoffs !

Here's a slide show....when it comes up click the right arrow to make it play and move the speed slide bar to slow it down....enjoy, and thanks for visiting.

SEPTEMBER 2007

Gig Harbor Harborhounds Dog Walk

On Sept 22, we attented a wonderful Charity dog walk held annualy on our town's beautiful waterfront with Parks on both ends of the harbor.  The event begins at one end and everyone walks their dogs to the other end.  Lots of events and vendors were in the Parks.  Registraton funds go to Rescue, the Humane Society and other dog charities.

We brought Frankie, King, Flame and Honey who drew tons of attention from the dog fanciers there.  Not one there had ever seen a Biewer before much less four of them.

It was so much fun to answer questions about the breed.  I looked around and we were encircled by people waiting to talk to us, pet the dogs and lots of photos were taken.

The weather was beautiful as well and we and our dogs had a wonderful time.  Check out the event website at www.harborhounds.com  It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce the Biewer to the public.

JUNE 2007

We have a new arrival!

We are very happy to introduce our new boy, Frankie.

He is 15 months old and a sweet gentle and very loving playful guy. He always has a smile saying "happy, happy".  Honey has a crush on him already and little King thinks he is a wonderful play mate as they romp around all over the place.  Frankie even lets the little puppies chomp and climb on him.   We just love this guy and look forward to seeing puppies from him in the near future.

APRIL 2007

HONEY AND FLAME WON THEIR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at the SPRING SIEGER (Spring Show) in ALBANY OREGON - APRIL 2007
- See a slide show below.....

Flame and Honey, who are sisters,  competed against each other in Jugend class (puppy) for the first time.  My own sister, Gayle, handled Honey in breed for me.  It was a challange to show 10 1/2 month old siblings in the same ring as they are used to rough housing together and we had a little bit to do getting them to ignore each other and be serious.  Puppies!

Little Honey left her sister Flame in the dust as she won Best of Breed in all four shows and went on to win First Place in Group.

Both girls received the highest marks possible and both have acheived their National and International Championships in puppy class.  It was lots of fun for them and us.  Now we wait for them be 15 months old to compete in adult class.

CALLIE'S BIRTHDAY - SHE'S A YEAR OLD AND ALL GROWN UP

Our Callie girl, IBC German registered name - A Calaryn Dream of Parkhill Royalty - has grown into a fine young lady.
We could not be more proud of her.

She is from German imported perents; sire, Timper vom Muhlengrund and dam, Fabien zur Langen Reihe.

Callie has appointed herself as our official caretaker of all creatures in our home be it canine or human.
She is an amazingly intuitive, intelligent and loving character that is not easily found and as you can
tell, we love her very much.

Keep an eye on this girl.....she is amazing.

and

Excuse Me Honey

A special thank you to the Ostern Family of My Insatiable Love for these beauties and for giving them such a wonderful start in life.  They are healthy, well socialized and we can tell they are well loved.  Michael was so worried about their flight that he called from Germany at 2 A.M. their time and reached us on our cell phone while we were driving home from the airport to see how they were doing. . .he couldn't sleep until he knew they were safe and healthy. . . . I lost sleep the night before with worry and excitement. . .we both agreed it was time to catch a nap! Trouble is I was still driving! :0)

They are playful and energetic and follow our older dogs all over the place and already know our routine.  Do you think they speak English yet?

Please return to view updated pictures and news.

JULY 2006  Our First Biewer Yorkshire a la Pom Pon

After months and months of searching, we have our first little Biewer Darling!  I was so excited, I couldn't sleep for a week waiting for her arrival.

Here she is. . . .

We call her Callie.  She is the best little love bug.  She was born April 14, 2006 and is now one of our Yorkie pack.  I do think they noticed she looked a little different but have now accepted her into the fold.  We are so happy!
